Physician · Field Epidemiologist · Health Writer
Translating complex medicine into clear, evidence-based stories.
I'm Dr. Nsisong Asanga — a practising physician and CDC-trained field epidemiologist who writes about health for the people who need it most. My work has appeared in WebMD, Healthline, SELF, Parents, The Independent and across dozens of consumer health publications.

About
I trained in Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh), hold a Master of Public Health, and completed advanced Field Epidemiology certification with the U.S. CDC. In 2023 I deepened my work in health communication through advanced health-writing studies at Harvard.
Across the clinic, the field, and the page, I'm interested in the same question: how do we move good evidence to the people whose lives depend on it? My writing favours accuracy without jargon, and stories that take underserved patients seriously.
